Meeting invitation Email Message
You will receive an email message that looks something like this. A few minutes before your scheduled time click the link in item number 1.

Strange Messages
Sometimes your browser will ask if it’s OK to run the GoToMeeting software. These don’t always appear and they look different depending upon the browser you use. If you receive on just approve it. In this case I will choose “Launch Application.”

Launch GoToMeeting
The software installs very quickly. Once it’s ready you will see an orange Asterick icon in your taskbar (usually at the bottom of your screen). Click it ot launch the application and join the meeting.

Opening Screen
After you join the meeting your screen will look like this. The GoToMeeting Control panel is that box on the right. If we will use the telephone for your meeting check “Telephone” in the Audio box. If you want to use your computer’s mic and speakers check that box.

Share Your Screen
Most of the time we will be looking at your Outlook during the call. To do that you will be set as the presenter. Once that happens you will share your screen by clicking the “Show My Screen” button that will appear on your screen.

How To Hide the Control Panel
The GoToMeeting Control Panel can get in the way. To hide it click the orange arrow icon

Control Panel Hidden
When the Control Panel is hidden it doesn’t take up much space.

How To Stop Sharing Your Screen
When you’re ready to stop sharing your screen, open the Control Panel and click the “Stop Showing My Screen” button.

Close GoToMeeting
To leave the meeting and close the GoToMeeting application click the X in the upper right hand corner of the Control Panel. That’s it
