Oh yes you also have to be a creative thinker, motivating leader and effective troubleshooter.  No wonder it’s hard to keep up.  No wonder your personal life suffers.  No wonder you are totally beat when you do get home and have precious little time and energy for your personal life.

Use the WorkloadMaster System to get ahead and stay ahead!

You already have a powerful tool on your computer that can help you manage the information overload, protect your time and focus on the important…Microsoft Outlook.  All you need is to have someone show you step-by-step how to put it to use.  Outlook is a great program but it’s full of bells and whistles that can become time-wasting distractions if you don’t know how to use it.  In my program, Master Your Workload With Microsoft Outlook, I will show you which features to use, how and when to use them and just as important, which features to ignore and disable.  Your workplace is distracting enough, why not eliminate the interruptions that you can control.

I will show you step-by-step how use Outlook  to:

  1. Manage your e-mail so that a cluttered Inbox doesn’t eat up your valuable time.
  2. Quickly convert e-mail to tasks, appointments and contacts rather than letting them clutter you Inbox and your mind.
  3. Use it as system to capture and store key information so that it’s not forgotten (and you don’t have to try to remember everything).
  4. Protect your valuable peak performance time for high priority activities
  5. Easily and quickly configure Outlook to it turn it into a powerful time and information management tool.
  6. Schedule and remain focused on your priorities.
  7. Effortlessly capture and manage tasks.
  8. Manage small projects.
  9. Delegate effectively.
  10. Plan and manage communications with key people
  11. Be well prepared for staff meeting meetings.
  12. Utilize a  powerful planning process that enables you to make full productive use of your day.
  13. And more.

The WorkloadMaster online eCourse is easy-to-use and convenient

In the past I had to teach this course in workshops that took over 6-hours.  Don’t get me wrong, in-person training is great (and also expensive).  But with everyone so busy and cost conscious I had to find a a way to deliver this valuable program in a that you can learn at times convenient to you…and for less money. Through  Web 2.0 technology you can learn my system at your convenience, at your own pace and on your own computer.  You will apply the techniques to your real work as your learn…at a fraction of the cost of live training.

Each lesson is delivered to you as a video screencast.  The online video player enables you to pause, rewind and fast forward as you need.  You simply pause the video, go to your Outlook to apply the technique, then come back for more.  When you have to stop it’s simple to resume  where you left off.

Here’s What’s In It For You

After doing this for 10 years I’ve had clients tell me time and again how they benefited from the training.  Here are a few of the big ones:

  • End your day with an empty Inbox…be the master of your e-mail
  • Work with a clear mind free of thoughts about things you have to do or haven’t done
  • Stop letting things fall through the cracks
  • Look and be more the person others count on to get things done
  • Hold others accountable for commitments they make to you
  • Balance Your Work and Personal Time
  • Stop wasting time looking for things
  • Relieve stress
  • Come to meetings prepared and ready to participate

If you’re still unsure keep reading:

Books are great but….

There are literally hundreds of books about time management on the market.  I’ve read most of them and many are absolutely great.  But the problem I see with my clients is that they read the books, tried a few things and eventually go back to their old habits.   When you try to implement new habits from a book you are forced to read the material (which takes time) assimilate it then use that information to create your own system.  this can be great, but for most people it doesn’t work.  Who has time to create a new system?

The easy way to learn a new system is to have an expert walk you though it step-by-step to show you how to do it and reinforce the learning.   You don’t have to take your time and mental energy to figure it out…that part already done for you.  The learning curve is cut short and you apply the system from day one.  I see it as my job to read all those books, learn from them, draw on my10 years of experience as a trainer and coach…take all that knowledge and create a system that you can step into right away.  Oh yes the cost is the same as purchasing two or three books.

Learn at your convenience…at your own pace…on your own system!

It is all about habit

That’s right.   You use a series of habits (good or bad) to to manage your daily work.  Chances are nobody taught you how to do it.  Most of us were thrown out into the workplace and left to figure it out on our own.  I know I was.  To this day schools and colleges don’t teach students how to manage their work…which is a shame.

So there you are left on your own to manage your daily work any way you can.  Most of the people I work with never give it a thought.  They just try to remember everything.  Which is the worst thing you can do. It may work for a while when you job is not very complex.  But over time you have more to do, more commitments, more responsibility, sooner or later that system (if you can call it that) will hit the wall.  You may not recognize it but the symptoms almost always include stress. The big ones are listed at the top of this page so I won’t repeat myself.

By this point your work management process has become habit…which can be hard to change.  When things get tough and stressful new behaviors (they’re not habits yet) fall away and you drift back into your good old comfortable habits whether or not they are good for you (ask any smoker who has tried to quit).

Having trained and coached hundreds of people over the years I know about when most people start to drift back to their old ways.  So I designed the The WorkloadMaster online training to  include a series of gentle reminders to help keep you on track until those new habits are cemented.  You also have the ability to schedule special one-on-one coaching sessions with me (at a reasonable cost) to help you over the hump.  Whether you do this is up to you, but I wanted to point out that in this training we don’t just love you and leave you, we’re here to help you make it work for you.  That’s something you won’t get from a book.
