Everyone’s a super hero, everyone’s a Captain Kirk.

Do you feel as if you will never catch up? Get used to it because it’s not going to change anytime soon.
Part of the reason for the overloaded feeling is our natural tendency to believe we can do everything. We ignore the laws of physics and expect ourselves to be superhuman. Maybe that was true when new information came to us in a trickle. Today it’s like trying to drink from a fire hose. It’s time to adjust to reality.
The answer to getting more important things done is truly knowing your limitations. How much time do you really have in a day? How much energy do you have and when are you at your best? When is your attention span at it’s peak? You have limits. Knowing your limits and working within them will unlock your true potential.
Pick only one very important goal each week. Write it down and dedicate a minimum of 30 minutes each day to move it forward, just a little bit. Ideally schedule those 30 minutes during your peak performance time. Set a timer and don’t stop or do anything else until it rings. Do this for a month and you will be amazed at your results.

Have a great week!
